Color Squad is a Collective of young artists work under the guidance of professional artists to research, design, and install murals, sculptures, and installations aimed at transforming public spaces as well as produce an artistic portfolio of original work for each student. Creative Action, a nationally recognized youth development organization, serves more than 20,000 youth and families annually

Color Squad did a volunteer shift last night at the Central Texas Food Bank. Our next mural of the year will be in their overflow sorting center. Afterward, we got a special behind the scenes tour to start our research.

We had a ton of fun a couple of weeks ago at the Teens Convening @ Artpace . We did much discussing, fabric box making with Andy Coolquitt, and community building. Much thanks for the hospitality!

Our finished stickers hot off the press. We will be selling these at Staple! The independent media expo next weekend. All our proceeds will be split between United Way of Genesee co (which serves flint and provides water filter and clean water services) and Austin Children's Shelter.
