excited to share I have new music out TODAY on new compilation: Sleep Cycles.

The album is a soundtrack through the stages of the sleep cycle. My song (Candid, Content) closes the compilation, soundtracking Hypnopompia (Waking Up).

Putting this tune together was incredibly fun. It’s the first time I played guitar on one of my own songs, and was made after coming back from Glastonbury last year. The inspiration was flowing hard.

It also features a sample of a mundane moment my phone accidentally recorded. A conversation between my partner and I while we were eating dinner, cutlery clanking, remarking how small the potatoes on our plate were. Listening back it was remarkable to hear this small moment. We tend to place much importance on big moments, but this was a reminder that the small moments matter too, just as much.

All proceeds or this release will be donated to Human Appeal’s Double Up For Gaza appeal, supporting Palestinians in Gaza with vital food parcels. Each donation is doubled by the campaign’s partner organisation.

so excited to announce i’ll be playing at this summer! june 27th, hackney wick. more details coming soon, but for now, wow. this line up is awesome. really happy to be sharing the festival with these artists and crews.

i won’t be djing but instead going to be playing an updated version of my live set, debuting some brand new music, reimagining some older songs, and experimenting/incorporating some new ways to delve into the zar universe. v2.0 coming in hard.

thank you to for the trust. funny because when i started producing back in 2016/2017, i took a 6 week studio production course that was organised by the crew. i learned a lot in those six weeks, mostly that i wasn’t ready to put music together, but it spurred me to keep carrying on. and now i get to play my music at the festival. proper full circle moment. life is full of them! ⭕️ let’s go!

feels so surreal to write this, but: ‘s session is now available to watch back on their youtube channel. absolute madness. what a milestone for us, for me personally, it was just such an honour. i can’t tell you the sheer amount of emotions i went through whilst we recorded these songs (all in one take!) dear, excitement, dread, the nerves, the worry, the gratitude, the “wha the hell are we doing right now?!” - all of it all at the same time just poured out into this performance. im so happy with it, and so happy and bewildered but ultimately grateful we got to do this. thank you to the team (special shouts to for the pep talk beforehand!!) and the rest of the crew on the day. you made us feel at ease and as a result we played one of the best sets ever. thanks to for these awesome photos. next stop: austin texas!! 🇺🇸

To have all 3 artists take time make the remixes really means a lot.

With Hagop, I had sent early versions of the song to Hagop in early 2024, before Light Stain At Dawn had crystallised into an EP.

He immediately took a liking to it and made various iterations of the remix which he would play out and share videos of with me (so you may have heard it if you saw Hagop support Floating Points in San Francisco in 2024, or at Horst Music & Arts Festival 2025).
