Each stone placed, each tree framed, every shadow considered. A quiet dialogue between rock, tree and light. We’re honored to share it as part of the Austin Landscape Artistry Tour on October 18th. Join John and me for a walk through the Japanese inspired garden.

Stonework, tuned to nature’s frequency.
Natural staircase and sitting area, built within the hillside. Japanese maples, ferns and weeping boulders help create a serene destination.

The entrance is the first visual cue of what to expect within a property and home. The way it looks and feels sets the tone and mood for the experience of being at the property.
It is important that we understand our client’s personality, interior style, hobbies and how they typically use the property so we can match the vibe while flattering the architecture .

Our unique planting style of Korean zoysia creates lush and sculptural land art. We love creating these different zen destinations for our clients within their property. Perfect for bare feet, grounding and relaxation. A beautiful boulder is a great finishing touch.

Building a beautiful and functional staircase is an essential skill we use to maximize a client’s property and create more usable space and destinations. Each uniquely built to reflect the client’s personality, needs and the overall vibe of the property. Let us know which one is your favorite!

Our downtown Austin installation is featured in the December issue of - “Inside the Revamped 1850s-Era Home of a Signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence”.
The architect, Michael Hsu, also recently won the International Interior Design Award for “Best in City Center”, Texas Oklahoma Chapter!
We started the installation by rough grading and excavating at the start of 2021. The project continued through the spring of this year, when the front landscape was completed. A huge accomplishment for everyone involved!

Three different levels of indoor/outdoor living we created with our client for his three story condo and atrium.
-Split leaf philodendron and a coral bark maple bring lush green energy into the main floor of the home.
-The second level sitting area and balcony features vines and other shade loving plants in containers.
-Ocotillo, desert rose and other cactus and succulents fill the 3rd floor balcony container garden, soaking up the sun!

“The sound of water is worth more than all the poets’ words”- Octavio Paz
Start your day by grounding yourself in the earth, with the sound of water to ease the mind and enter a state of gratitude. Each water feature is truly one-of-a-kind, a sculpture built just for you!

Last month our Castle landscape was featured in the Austin Landscape Artistry Showcase. It was very rewarding for John and I to share the work that we (and our VERY hardworking and talented crew) have created while meeting others who love and appreciate unique landscapes and art.
Thank you to everyone who came out to meet us and walk through the property. It is not often we get to just hangout and enjoy the landscapes we create with others. We are grateful 🙏.
Thank you and for sponsoring the event!
