Join us for "María Irene Fornés, Three Short Readings" next Friday, March 29!

Considered by many to be the mother of Latinx playwriting, Fornés was an influential and award-winning playwright, director, and teacher.

Join us in the staged reading of three of her works:
Springtime (1989), directed by Georgia Beckmann
Mud (excerpt) (1983), directed by Rodolfo Robles Cruz
Fefu and Her Friends (excerpt) (1977), directed by Elyse Rosario.

This event is co-presented by the Friday @ 2 speaking series of the Performance as Public Practice program and the Latinx Theatre Initiative at UT Austin in coordination with The Fornés Institute.
