🌱 Oh, Lohd, it's true! ERG’s own Dr. Kat Seikel co-directed an archaeological fieldschool in Lohd with Maureece Levin (U. Arkansas Little Rock) focusing on long term land management and subsistence practices on the Island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. IFR Global hosted students from six universities who conducted test excavations on mounded and terrace landforms to explore traditional ag practices and their relevance today. "It's a scorcher out there", said just about everyone in America! Even the squirrels are feeling the heat. ERG’s photo contest winner, Corissa Zimmer, took a picture of this little guy while out on a project, looking like he's ready for a summer vacation. Stay cool and hydrated, friends!
