Holy Smokes!

Our thoughts are with the boat owners and marina operators that are left with a huge mess to clean up this morning after the early hour storm that rolled through unexpectedly. Luckily, there have been no reports of injury. It looks like the strongest winds were over by Hudson Bend and quite a few marinas on the south shore received damage. Lake Travis marina is shown in the picture above and it received the worst of it because it was in transition from older docks and the new ones being constructed. Couple others are reporting some wind shift and wind damage as well but nothing as major. Nothing out of the ordinary in consideration that there were 80+ mph winds associated with the storm.
Both Ted at C*C and Nik at HH are reporting no damage to either so all boats are safe. I would ask that all going out today please give no wake to Paradise Cove, Emerald and especially LT marina by Stearns island. They have some repairs to do and don’t need wakes making it more damaging and dangerous for dock workers and owners checking on their boats.
