This is a contract labor position. Bookings average about 1-2 per month and consist of a 4 hour labor time frame on Saturday and/or Sunday. Sunday hours would be 2-6pm. Saturday hours can vary from 9am-7pm.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Lifting, standing and walking - set up numerous tables & chairs, haul garbage to dumpster, set up & retrieve signage around campus
* Cleaning - Vacuum all carpeted areas, wipe down tables, chairs, counters, etc., clean bathrooms & mop floors, clean & inspect all playscape areas, clean
windows & doors
* Monitor all activities for safety concerns, keep an eye on front door and hallway for entrance/exit of all guests
*Ensure everyone remains within the policies and procedures for events
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
* Ability to multitask and remain focused during loud, noisy distractions
* Social skills – assist host and guests when necessary
* Must be at least 16 years of age for support positions
* Ability to run media equipment, sound board, and lighting as needed -
being familiar with mac computers and the ProPresenter program is helpful
