The report details the company’s achievements based on the stated corporate goals and focus areas for 2025, which are rooted in the mission to reduce risks to the reliability and security of the electric grid in the Texas Interconnection.

Texas RE has been named a Top Workplace by the Austin American-Statesman for the third year in a row and placed in the top five of the small company category (50-149 employees). Additionally, Texas RE’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Albright was recognized with a special award for outstanding leadership.

“One of our primary corporate goals at Texas RE is to foster an outstanding workplace culture,” said Texas RE President and CEO Jim Albright. “Our employees drive this initiative, so I’m very pleased that for the third year in a row our company has been affirmed to provide an environment where people enjoy working while performing at a high level.”

Texas RE's annual Reliability Performance and Regional Risk Assessment for the Texas Interconnection is now available. It reports increased risk of reserve margin deficiencies due to the integration of large loads, decreased risk from extreme winter weather, and a new risk focus area for 2025—artificial intelligence.
