Few shows have shaped how Americans laugh at politics quite like Saturday Night Live.
Thank you to Alec Baldwin and Darrell Hammond for joining us at the LBJ Presidential Library for a hilarious and insightful conversation about comedy, impersonating presidents, and the lasting impact of political satire on American culture. And thank you to everyone who joined us!

Today’s SCOTUS decision renders the 1965 Voting Rights Act effectively gutted. It was LBJ's proudest legislative accomplishment, allowing for free and fair elections and the prospect of a truly representative government.
Signed into law to remove barriers that prevented millions of Americans from exercising their right to vote, it remains one of the most significant pieces of civil rights legislation in American history.
