For those of you who don't know who/what, CareBOX Program is, CareBOX Program provides free essential care supplies to cancer patients to help prevent malnutrition, infections, and injuries from falls.

Thank you Deloitte for having our Executive Director, Chandler Stancliff join your Non-profit Impact Day last Friday 6/9! We covered both Business Chemistry and Future of Work with other non-profits in the area.

We want to give a big thank you to students in Sunday School at Temple Beth Shalom, Austin for making these awesome blankets for our patients!! Our patients love these blankets and like to use during their infusions where it can tend to be cold. Help us give them a big thank you!!

We want to give Austin Allies a huge thank you for hosting a supply drive last month and collecting some super important items for us! These items will be able to go directly to our patients and saving CareBOX Program the cost of purchasing them! We are extremely thankful for them.

We also want to give them a huge thank you for working with several middle school PALS programs to create uplifting cards that we will be able to pass out to our patients in their CareBOXes. This will be something that can lift their sprits up during such a difficult time.

Help me give them a big thank you!! We are so excited to work with them and hope to work with them more in the future.

We are honored to have been selected by the Georgetown Seeds of Strength to receive the "Plant it Forward" award! The RecognizeGood awarded Seeds of Strength with the award last month to select a charity to "Plant it Forward" and we were lucky to be that chosen non-profit!

We are incredibly thankful to be selected to receive this award from Georgetown Seeds of Strength and it will immdiately be put towards buying critical care supplies for local cancer patients to help prevent malnutrition, infections, and injuries from falls.

On November 29th, Collective Giving Tuesday, the “Plant It Forward” event took place at First Texas Bank. SoS leadership presented a check for $1000 to CAREBox as part of a SOS recognition by RECOGNIZE GOOD last month. The check was to be presented to a charity of SOS’s chouce. That decision was made by an ad hoc committee of SOS, chaired by Pam Carlson. CAREBox provides cancer supplies and equipment to needy cancer patients. We want to give a BIG shot out and thank you to the members of VIBE Dance Ensemble and Cedar Park Dance Company!!They chose CareBOX Program to be the beneficiary at their recent PINK OUT fundraising event for the community that included a bake sale, nail painting, ballon raffle, bingo, a silent auction, arts & crafts, a dance party, and so much more!!

They were able to able to raise a little over $880 and collected warms blankets and hats that we will be able to distribute to our patients.

We are so thankful and appreciative of these girls and their families!! We wish them a successful and fun rest of their season!! :)
