Incredible dust storm (haboob) in Wall, Texas - East of San Angelo, as outflow from a severe storm complex surged across the area. Visibility dropped to zero at times. Very surprised there wasn't a crash on US-87.

Edit: there was a 4-car crash, West of Wall, which included one person supposedly trapped and suffering a heart attack.

5:20 PM CDT — The Storm Prediction Center is monitoring parts of Central, North, and Northeast Texas for possible severe thunderstorm development through this evening.

A watch is possible, but not guaranteed. Any storm that can mature may produce large hail, damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. We’ll be watching closely for storms trying to develop and organize.
