A little love letter to Sadie + Garrett 🤍

These two arrived at the ranch on a Tuesday, giving themselves a few extra days to settle in, decorate, and soak up every moment with their loved ones before saying “I do.” Everything was in place by their wedding day, allowing them to slow down, be fully present, and enjoy one another.

We loved how many personal, heartfelt, and truly DIY details were woven into Julia and Pasha’s day! Our favorite detail was the dog portrait that Julia’s aunt hand-painted on her bridal bouquet ribbon 🥰 and all of the women in her family pitched in for her florals! Our dad Steven described himself as an environmentalist, an outdoorsman, and a loving dad. He put down roots in Hudson Bend in the early 1980’s, then built the ranch from a piece of nearly-vacant land in 1999. He enjoyed the quiet open space, the wildlife, and the starry night skies the ranch provided, saying he wanted to leave the world a little better place.

If you met Steven you know that he was larger than life and he left some massive shoes to fill. A year and a half now since losing him, we are really proud of everything we have accomplished around the ranch, and only wish we could share our stories of success and lessons learned with the one person who would care the most to hear about them.

Thank you for being a part of our journey and helping us honor our dad’s vision. Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there 🤎
