It's been so awesome to see my yarn back out in the world making people happy and I've loved reuniting with many old fiber friends from the scout's swag days! I had a few people ask me if I'd be making t-shirts with the name of this yarn and I thought it was a great idea! I asked my good friend, and unbelievably talented graphic designer Cynthia Frenette if she would make us something and LOOK! They are now up in her shop! The one with an *, and the full send very sweary version. I already bought two! Can we wear these when we go vote? (I know. I know…you can’t. But really? It doesn’t SAY her name 🤣) Hmmmm...I can't wait to get mine.

Never did I imagine, when I started this fundraiser, that we'd raise close to $1,000 together! (That's 225 skeins so far of this!!) Can we hit that before November 5th, do you think? I'm so grateful to everyone for buying this yarn. It's been wonderful seeing everyone receive it and start knitting or crocheting with it. If you haven't shared your creations yet, please do! Tag me so I can repost them.

The good news is, after six weeks of absolute chaos (a full-time job, teaching two college classes, and trying to keep up with all of this!), I'm finally caught up! The usual wait time for orders is 3-4 weeks, but I should be able to get through them faster now. Unless I receive a flood of new orders, I should be able to process them within 1-2 weeks, which still gives you time to make something or at least be working on it by Election Day! I'm also going to try dyeing some yarn and offering it for immediate shipment if I can. I'll keep everyone updated.

But I really wanted to thank those of you who have emailed, commented, DM'd me, and told me your stories, your "why" you bought this yarn, and WHY this is important to you. This is why I did this. I have met so many incredible people in the last few days. I just love it! I really can't wait to get some of this out the door (earlier than I thought) and see what everyone starts making with it!
