Since our inception we have supported next generation leaders as they move from secondary into higher education. Supporting from a distance is one thing but being able to travel to Rwanda and hug your students is a feeling nobody can put into words. We can’t wait to plan our next trip to see our second families a world away.

New sunnies for our kiddos are always a real treat. Those smiles mean the world to us. ♥️

This past year has been full of uncertainties but one thing is for certain... our students in Rwanda are thriving in their studies and we couldn’t be happier.

Today waked up discouraged.Last week all parents were prepared to take their kids to school, since 2020 when lockdown starts kids were bore to be at home unfortunately because of Covid cases increased last week, our excitement are down again , all Nurseries, primary and highschools in Kigali-city are back to lockdown for two weeks....who knows??

Left side is Berthine who is Aspen Rwanda Alumni USA intern. Many university students graduates fail to get jobs easier because opportunities are limited but Aspen came as solution to some of Rwandese Engineers like her. She came back competent and smart, Berthine is working at Kulaproject, she is one of the best performer,she has one baby boy. Am proud of her!!!love you.

These are Aspen sponsored kids through Africa New Life Ministries, these some who are located 4hours drive from kigali capital City of Rwanda and it is 30mn to Akagera national park. These kids have been in holidays for 7months due to covid 19, we have been visiting and showing them love ,care and motivate them to do home schooling... November second they are ready to go back to school, let us join hands to support and pray for protection.

Meet our Aspen Heights Awake Coordinator, Jackie Mutesi! Jackie lives in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda with her husband and two children. She keeps us close to our sponsored children through visits and photos. And, she coordinates and helps lead our annual trips to Rwanda. Thank you for everything you do Jackie!
