Creating Wellness Chiropractic

Hi, I am with Town Hall.
We publish a monthly welcome Town Hall Guide that is mailed weekly to all new residents as they move into your community.
Our Welcome Guide is going to feature only one exclusive business inside each category, and I am searching for a Chiropractor in your area to fill that spot.
I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.
Please message me or for immediate assistance, feel free to call or text me on my cell which is listed below.

Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.

Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.

Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Chiropractic Physician, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being featured in our local Welcome Kits.

I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

Please reply to this email with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience.

1. Nociceptive Pain: Typically the result of tissue injury. Common types of nociceptive pain are arthritis pain, mechanical back pain, or post-surgical pain.
2. Inflammatory Pain: An abnormal inflammation caused by an inappropriate response by the body’s immune system. Conditions in this category include gout and rheumatoid arthritis.
3. Neuropathic Pain: Pain caused by nerve irritation. This includes conditions such as neuropathy, radicular pain, and trigeminal neuralgia.

The spine has an exceptional memory. Your spine will remember and become used to your posture. This is why it can be hard to get out of the habit of having bad posture. But once you do make a habit of good posture, your spine will remember it.

The spine has over 120 muscles in it. This is why our spine is so flexible and why it allows us to use it in so many different ways.

SCIATICA pain symptoms from the S1 nerve root in your lower spine may cause marked pain along the back of the thigh, leg, and/or the outer side of your foot. The L5 nerve typically causes weakness in the foot. It’s possible for more than one nerve root to be affected at a time, causing overlapping symptoms.

While spinal adjustments won't magically make you taller, they’ve been proven to straighten out and stretch the spine, allowing for you to appear anywhere from ¼ to 2 inches taller than you were before the alignment.

Nerve interference has a direct impact on the vital nerve energy reaching the organs, including the stomach. If left untreated, the stomach and digestive tract will remain in a state of dysfunction and eventually disease.

Chiropractic adjustments can, in some cases, improve breathing mechanics, giving patients the increased chest expansion and flexibility they need to take in more air.

> A lump or knot at the site of the injury
> Inability to bear weight
> Joint instability
> Limited range of motion
> Muscle cramping or spasms
> Muscle weakness
> Pain
> Swelling

Cervicogenic headache (CGH) occurs when pain is referred from a specific source in the neck up to the head. This pain is commonly a steady ache or dull feeling, but sometimes the pain intensity can worsen. CGH symptoms are usually side-locked, which means they occur on one side of the neck, head, and/or face.

Fast walking is beneficial for overall health. According to research, walking speed decreases slightly each year as you age - approximately a difference of 1.2 minutes slower for every .62 mile at age 60 than at age 20.

Most low back pain is due to muscle strain and spasm which results in limited range of motion.

The golfer's lift is a technique that allows you to pick up items off the floor with minimal stress to the lumbar spine. For this technique, the knees do not bend. One leg is allowed to come off the floor behind the lifter and acts as a counter balance. One arm reaches to pick up the object while the other is often hanging on a stationary object for support, such as a countertop or the top end of a golf club.

A leg length inequality is the growth of one leg that is shorter than the other. A leg length inequality can be a little or it can be a lot. Leg length deficiencies add stress to the muscles and joints in the weight bearing system. This happens because neutral weight bearing equilibrium is "off" just as a building will be "off" and tilt to one side if the foundation is not level. Leg length inequalities result in unleveling of the postural and musculoskeletal weight bearing system. This often results in joint strain, muscle strain, imbalance, and asymmetrical movements.

With osteoporosis, bones become brittle and weak. Stand tall with healthy bones.

Exercise is usually the best treatment for back pain.
Staying in bed for any prolonged period can make you stiff and increase pain. When you don’t move and bend, you lose muscle strength and flexibility. With bed rest, you lose about 1 percent of your muscle strength each day. And you can lose 20 to 30 percent in a week. It becomes more difficult to return to any activity. As you become weaker and stiffer, your recovery can take longer.

What does water aerobics do for the body?
The water helps to take the pressure off your body, so your muscles and joints can move around more freely. The buoyancy of water actually helps to support up to 90% of your weight, which means your spine and joints are less stressed. Aquatic therapy in the pool is fun and a game changer!

One rule of thumb is that for every inch that the head is held forward in poor posture, an additional 10 pounds of weight is felt on the cervical spine. So if the average head weighs between 10 and 12 pounds, just 1 or 2 inches of forward head posture can double or triple the load on the cervical spine.

Rotator Cuff Injury?

Shoulders are among the most flexible joints in the body. Unfortunately, this flexibility comes at a price. It is also relatively easy to injure the shoulders because of how flexible they are. Any activity or athletic movement that requires individuals to raise their hands above their heads repeatedly could lead to serious shoulder injuries. Conservative treatment should be considered before any surgery and the good news is that a chiropractor can help individuals rehabilitate rotator cuff injuries without surgery.

The goal of chiropractic care is to place the body in a position to do what it does naturally. By ensuring that the bones, ligaments, and tendons are appropriately aligned, a chiropractor can design a rehabilitation routine that will strengthen the supporting structures around the rotator cuff and help people recover.

Specific exercises can help reduce pain, numbness and other symptoms associated with carpal tunnel syndrome by reducing pressure on the median nerve at the wrist. These exercises help the median nerve glide through the carpal tunnel which helps improve range of motion and hand function.
Exercises include:
• Wrist extension stretch – performed by straightening the arm with the wrist bent backwards as if signaling someone to stop, and then pulling the palm back with the other hand and holding for 15 seconds
• Wrist flexion stretch – straighten the arm with the palm facing down and wrist bent so that fingers are towards the floor; pull the hand gently towards the body and hold for 15 seconds
• Medial nerve glides – performed by making a fist with the thumb outside the fingers and facing towards you, extending the fingers and thumb so the hand is straight, bending the wrist so that your palm faces upwards, extending the thumb, and straightening the arm

"Topical application of a menthol gel along with the chiropractic adjustment showed significant reduction in low back pain. Studies suggest that a menthol based topical analgesic was more effective than ice for relieving soreness associated with delayed onset muscle soreness while at rest or during muscle contractions. The topical analgesic also permitted greater evoked tetanic forces to be produced as compared to ice."

Soaking in a hot tub may relieve some types of pain by relaxing tense muscles, joints, and tendons. If you have arthritis, the heat and massaging action may help ease the stiffness and inflammation that cause pain.
