Siena Ristorante Toscana
Open since March 2000, Siena consistently provides Austin diners with an authentic Italian/Tuscan cuisine and an unmatched ambiance.
Designed and built by local restaurateur, Stan Adams with the help of designer Jeff Harris, the architecture of Siena is based on an ancient Italian farmhouse. Sitting in a valley off 2222 in the rolling hills of west Austin, the restaurant transports the diner to the rolling hills of Tuscany. The menu created by Chef Harvey Harris is a blend of traditional and contemporary Tuscan cuisine. After r

Pro tip: The Gamberoni pairs well with a cocktail from Thirsty Thursday — $10 signature cocktails run 4:30–6:30 PM, so come in early and make a night of it.

Five minutes from Mopac. Free parking at the door.
While you’re circling the block downtown for the third time, you could already be at Siena.
Stan Adams built this place from scratch in 2000 — stone walls, wooden beams, a wood-burning grill, the works. It doesn’t look like anything else in Austin because nothing else in Austin was built like this. And for 26 years, people have been making the drive out here and wondering why they waited so long.
No parking garage. No meter. No walking six blocks in August. Just pull in and walk through the door.

Available June 18–20 only.
Start with the Insalata — fresh mixed greens, pancetta onion vinaigrette, goat cheese. Simple, but that pancetta vinaigrette is doing real work.
Then the Linguine con Pesto al Limone (Homemade Linguine, Fresh Lemon Pesto, Basil Breadcrumbs) — clean and bright, lemon pesto is not something you see often and Chef David pulls it off.
The Osso Bucco is red wine braised beef shank over Parmesan polenta — slow-cooked, deeply savory, the real thing.
And the Lamb Rack (Costine di Agnello) — wood oven roasted with eggplant caponata and lamb demi. If you know what to do with a good lamb rack, this is it.

Italian restaurant in Austin, going strong since 2000.
Available June 18–20 only.
Three specials this week and they're going in a really interesting direction.
The Linguine con Pesto al Limone (Homemade Linguine, Fresh Lemon Pesto, Basil Breadcrumbs) is light and bright — a pasta that doesn't try to be anything other than what it is, and that's exactly why it works.
The Osso Bucco is the opposite end of the spectrum: red wine braised beef shank over Parmesan polenta, the kind of dish that takes all day to make and tastes like it.
And then the Lamb Rack (Costine di Agnello) — wood oven roasted, with eggplant caponata and lamb demi. That one's serious.
Pro tip: Thursday is also Thirsty Thursday — $10 signature cocktails from 4:30 to 6:30. Start at the bar, then sit down to one of these.

Found this old footage, someone had captured a marriage proposal a few years ago. A guest got down on one knee on the balcony — got the whole dining room’s attention first, said what he needed to say, she said yes.
This is what 26 years in Austin looks like. You become part of people’s stories whether you planned to or not. And they become part of yours.
Congratulations to the happy couple.

You should probably tell someone you care about, Villa Donoratico is a Bordeaux-style Cabernet blend from Bolgheri, one of Tuscany’s most respected appellations on the Tyrrhenian coast. Dark fruit, mint, Mediterranean herbs, a little cedar on the finish. The kind of bottle that earns its price.
Bolgheri doesn’t get talked about as much as Chianti or Barolo in the states, but for Cabernet and Merlot grown in Tuscany, this is worth talking about.
Pro tip: It’s built for red meat — if you’re ordering off the wood grill, this is the move.

⚽🍝 If your favorite World Cup team was a dish at Siena... what would it be?
Would Argentina be our Wild Boar Pasta? 🇦🇷
Is Italy the undisputed Bolognese? 🇮🇹
And let's be honest... England might just be Chicken Parmesan. 🏴
We paired some of the world's biggest football nations with Siena favorites and gave each one a personality of its own.
Which team are you backing this World Cup?
👇 Tell us your team (and whether we got it right) in the comments.
Twenty-six dollars. Two courses. Roman pasta done right.
Monday nights at Siena, we run a two-course menu built around the classics — Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, Amatriciana, Pasta alla Gricia. Start with a Caesar or soup, then pick your pasta. That’s the whole deal.
This is the kind of Italian food in Austin that doesn’t need a long explanation. Just show up hungry.
Pro tip: The bar and patio open at 4:30 — come early, grab a glass of wine, and take your time with the menu before you sit down.
