Igniting a love of reading by engaging young children in under-resourced areas of Texas with no-cost, high interest books and literacy programming.

Our programs both increase awareness of the importance of reading while providing the books to do so.

We'll shout it from the rooftops until our voices give out. More books at home = better reading. Higher literacy achievement and the strongest gain appear for students who have access and receive cumulative "doses" of books.

LOVE to see this! William School not only donated a generous amount of children’s books, but also created positive affirmation bookmarks. Such a fun addition for a community book drive. Thank you!!

This was our second year of opening our headquarters to local educators as a part of our Big Book Giveaway.

In partnership with librarians at the Austin ISD campuses that are scheduled to close, BookSpring offered to donate up to four books to every child (totaling nearly 6,000 books!) at those schools to help ensure students could take books home for the summer and carry a piece of their school library experience with them into their next chapter.

Over 1,200 readers came out for a beautiful spring day of literacy and community. We sang, danced, met superheroes, went on a scavenger, scored free books…AND read lots of stories together.

Thank you to our sponsors for another incredibly successful festival!
