With a background in both residential and commercial construction, he recognized that there was a need in Austin for a different kind of Construction Company, one that would provide personalized, customer oriented service and yield superior client satisfaction.
Back to work with a repeat client, now helping them make their new home in the heart of Rollingwood their own. But there’s plenty to do before they move in, and we’re starting downstairs. Here’s a first look at what’s ahead.

This kitchen isn’t about making every surface match. Brick, wood, steel, and dark cabinetry each bring something different to the room, while the oversized worktable-style island pulls it all together. A mix of materials that feels collected rather than overly polished.

A wine cellar tucked under the stairs sounds simple enough. This one became one of the most considered spaces in the home. Floor to ceiling cedar wine racks, herringbone tile, integrated lighting, and a steel and glass door that makes the whole thing visible from the kitchen. The kind of room that rewards you every time you walk past it.
There’s a lot of planning behind a well-laid tile floor. Where the pattern starts, where cuts land, how it meets the surrounding surfaces. Getting those decisions right before installation makes all the difference in the finished room.

The windows were always going to be a major part of this room. Their scale opens the living space to the landscape beyond and makes the view feel like part of the home.

A backyard pool changes how a property gets used, especially through an Austin summer. When the pool, patio, landscaping, and surrounding spaces are considered together, the backyard becomes another living space rather than something you simply look out at.
Progress at Northwood. The hand-troweled stucco is complete, with the new finish carefully worked to match the home’s original 1930s stucco as closely as possible. Preserving that character while making updates for the next chapter of the home is always in the details.
Next up, exterior paint.

The best part of this screened-in porch might be the screens themselves. Fully retractable, they disappear when you want an open-air porch and come down when you need a little more protection from the elements. More flexibility without sacrificing the connection to the backyard.
