This guy! This week he's celebrating his 6th year with Seedlings. If we've built your outdoor space, he likely has done the welding for it. Let's give three (or 6) cheers for Rocky! 🍻

Everything is bigger in Texas they say, even the dog runs (because we 💚 our pups). Rolling out this one for some pampered pooches in Driftwood on a 25-acre resort style retreat. Bonus wildflower pic, because....wildflowers!

From hundreds of thousands of miles away, Artemis II astronaut Victor Glover looked back at Earth and said it perfectly:

"In all of this emptiness...you have this oasis, this beautiful place that we get to exist in together."

Today is Earth Day. The theme for 2026 is Our Power, Our Planet. And maybe it takes seeing it from space to really feel what that means. This place is worth protecting. And we're the ones who get to do it. 🌍 Let's stay inspired.

What's one thing you're changing today? 🌍

🌱 Happy
International Plant Appreciation Day.
We love everything about these green oxygen machines.

We're wrapping up our series this week with what we think is the most underappreciated part of any landscape project: the design phase.

A quick sketch isn't a plan. Real landscape design means asking the right questions before anything goes in the ground, where does water flow? Where does the sun beat down hardest in summer? How big will these plants actually get? What does this irrigation system need to do?

It's also the stage where we collaborate most closely with homeowners to make sure the project reflects what they actually want, not just what's easy or fast to install.

If you missed any posts in this series, check our page. And if you're planning a project and want to talk through what a quality process looks like, we'd love to hear from you.

And here we are! 🌱💪

One thing that separates quality landscape contractors from budget ones? Respecting the pace of installation.

Certain things can't be rushed; proper base compaction for patios and walkways, correct planting depth for trees and shrubs, irrigation testing, and drainage evaluation. When those steps get sped through or skipped entirely, the project looks fine on day one and starts showing problems within a year or two.

We've seen patios shift, plants fail, and irrigation systems that were installed but never actually tested. All avoidable. All the result of someone moving too fast.
