Recently I took a full time job in logistics. 🚛🧑🏽💻
It’s been tough work, very demanding on my schedule as far as showing up around 6:30am and leaving at 5 but I really enjoy the work I do.
On the other hand, been tough finding time to fit in as many workouts as I used to per week or even making sure they’re as intense as they used to be.
The thing is though, it doesn’t matter. I really got into this fitness thing to improve my strength and physique. Then I found out shortly after that this is about the lifestyle you want to live.
If you want it you gotta get it.
So I’m still in this thing regardless. Still training my clients, still prepping for my next show, still doing this content thing.
If you love the grind, if you love that hustle it’ll love you back.💯

Lean Bulking for the Summer? 5 Things to remember👇🏽
1. Muscles should appear fuller due to increased glycogen storage and slight water retention. This gives the muscle the rounder look.
2. Strength improves steadily, leading to lifting heavier weights and better pump.
3. You should hold your “shape”. Notice here how my midsection doesn’t look as sharp as it normally does. Only thing that really changes here is the definition.
4. Gradually increase food intake to support muscle growth; watch for plateaus.
5. Experience good recovery with quality sleep, high energy, and feeling fresh for workouts.

WINNING WEDNESDAY 🏆
A little under a year ago I had the pleasure of meeting Jaeshawn and starting work with him.

Accountability often times is our downfall when it comes to showing up for yourself everyday. Staying accountable and committed to a training partner who’s able to unlock your motivation and push you to your limits is a great way to ensure consistency 📈
2️⃣Create Your Own Periodized Routine
This can’t be you doing the same exercises week after week. A true and challenged periodized training routine doesn’t just incorporate workouts to test your progress; it changes phase by phase in accordance with your development. This is BIG in avoiding plateaus❗️
3️⃣Create a Fitness Page
I know this may seem cringe but, it’s not. Leaders all start out as followers therefore, it’s never too late to become one. Posting your fitness progress and content weekly instills another level of accountability amongst your followers and once there’s the pressure of improving; you’re less likely to drop off. Before you know it, you’ll have motivated a friend or two to begin their journey💡🕊️

Focus on yourself, not on others.
That's one of the biggest thing as an athlete.
I wake up everyday, I have the same routine, no matter if I'm tired, if im not feeling well, every day I push myself to the gym no matter what.
You have to embrace the pain and use it as a fuel for your journey. Because trust me, it's gonna be painful and it's gonna take time.
I have big goals and it takes a lot of sacrifices to achieve them. I'm on a mission and giving up is not an option!
You know.. you have to accept all these sacrifices to achieve what you really want. Once you accept that you have to sacrifice, then you have a different perspective of life and work ethic.
And I have to be grateful that I'm able to sacrifice.
Some people don't have this opportunity I had and still have, so I'm blessed for the opportunities I have and I train so hard for ears to make my dreams come true.
I'm grateful for what I already made and my past, I love the present and I'm excited for the future!
