In FOUR DAYS it will be October?! Is anyone else as shocked as I am?! {It kills me it was 97° today!} The days still roll by even if it doesn’t feel seasonally appropriate. 🍂
Our 3rd Annual Fall Kickoff will be here before we know it! We’ll be back Leona Botanical Café & Bar on October 8th @ 6.30pm 🎃 Wear your school colors, a shirt or jersey to represent you collegiate/Chi Omega years. ❤️💛 Grab some food from one of the three restaurants or just kickback with a cold beverage! The space is covered by 80 different species of plants 🌱 and 170 trees! 🌳 We can’t wait to see you there!! 🍁 Austin Chi Omega Alumnae

Sisters! 👯‍♀️ Please accept my sincere apologies for the parking situation today. I know at least three of you gave up the ghost 👻 and that is never my intent. I was hoping more of you could share in this cool space with us, but Nicole Snodgrass Kandah, Sue Ellen Jackson and I had fun catching up and hearing about Sue Ellen’s adventures in Canada! 🇨🇦 The space is curated BYGEORGE of N. Lamar and the coffee was indeed good; maybe you can check out one of their other locations some time! Desnudo Coffee WESTSIDE MARKET

Bid Day, Best Day!! 🤎🤍 Yesterday evening, TEXAS STATE CHI OMEGA welcomed home 60 new hooties to the nest! 🪹🦉 After five days of recruitment and months of preparation, the hard work was over and the fun could begin! ❤️💛 Along with new members, we reunited with 11 Rho Gammas and one Texas State Panhellenic Council 1st VP. We were under disaffiliation rules this year, so the separation was agonizing. 🫪 After everyone ran home 🏡 they took photos, shopped Pics & Gifts, dined on Chick-fil-A, Inc. nuggets and beat the heat 🔥 with popsicles! A few advisors, House Corps members and {almost} ALL Alpha Zeta Alumnae were there to support and witness it! *Kate was stuck in mad traffic and missed our photo. We even had a new member Mom drop down from Austin, which I thought was the most lovely gesture. Until next time! 🎉 Chi Omega Fraternity Austin Chi Omega Alumnae

Pref perfect!! ♥️💜 Day 4, Round 3! TEXAS STATE CHI OMEGA wore these stunning jewel tones yesterday and to me, they feel inviting. Our seniors were crowned with flowers and I’ve already shared with our President, I’m probably going to cry when they all graduate!! Preference is such an emotional round, often making or breaking a woman’s decision on her top house. GH, Jayden, Recruitment Chair, Spencer & DIB/Recruitment Assist, Sophia, all had wonderful speeches to share with the PNM’s. I would want to join again if I was in the room! They talked about our foundation, values, purpose and reasons they committed to our sisterhood! The countdown is ON to see who wants to join and thrive within Alpha Zeta!! Austin Chi Omega Alumnae Chi Omega Fraternity

Day 3, Round 2 is now Sisterhood!! Texas State Panhellenic Council When I was talking to the Decor Team, they were trying to create the illusion of sunset for our room! 🌅 Without seeing the whole thing together, it looks like they may have achieved that. 🧡💛💖 I, understandably, haven’t heard much from campus, but I’d like to think that means everything is going well. I think TEXAS STATE CHI OMEGA looked darling yesterday and hope these photos represent the energy they are greeting the PNM’s with! As we all know, Chi Omega Fraternity is such a special organization and I can’t wait to see who we get to welcome into Alpha Zeta!

Help me wish the one and only, Nicole Snodgrass Kandah the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS!! 🎂🎉🎈🎁🥳 Here, with her IRL sisters, celebrating with her family! 👯‍♀️ I don’t tell her enough, but Austin Chi Omega Alumnae would not exist without her. When the chapter broke apart during COVID, I volunteered to try to put it back together around 2023. I had a historical binder and a phone number • for Nicole. I reached out and she GRACIOUSLY agreed to help. That process began our friendship, which I’m incredibly thankful for, and the chapter you see today. ❤️ Nicole’s knowledge on the history of our chapter is irreplaceable and holds incredible value. Her insights are always appreciated and her creativity {Nicole designs every graphic you see} is unmatched. There aren’t sufficient words to express how much she means to me both in Chi Omega and my personal life; I hope this is the BEST YEAR!! You deserve it!! ❤️💛

Well, if you’re a Texas State Football fan, you may be quite disappointed. However, despite a 7 - 59 final score, at least we were legitimately on the board this time! 🏟️ Minus the ‘sportball,’ we all enjoyed gushing over our new Austin Chi Omega Alumnae mascot, Carlisle!! 🐾 Thank you for bringing him, Katie. 🧡 I wonder if it will be another 96 years before we are invited back to DKR?!
