I did a knapping demonstration for the Oakalla Library!
One kid named Barrett had a t-shirt that said “easily distracted by arrowheads” and he sat through the whole arrowhead I made for him. The other two kids ran off when they saw a squirrel or something and I told it’s better to be distracted by arrowheads than from them!
Another fella named Todd wanted his very own leather working tool and he got to watch that being made. It fit right in his hand too! Some people might say any rock you can hold “fits in the hand”, but ughh..this one really fit!
