Meet Samantha, she got her bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University in Indiana. Before landing at LSI, she dove into a mix of projects across Indiana, Massachusetts, and central Texas, getting the lowdown on all things from commercial gigs to cozy home developments. Here's a fun fact about Samantha: she's got a green thumb for indoor plants! Walk into her spaces, and you'll be greeted by a lively mix of everything from cute little pots to big, bold green statements.

Key Requirements Include:
-Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning, or equivalent
-3 or more years of professional experience
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud with experience in SketchUp, Rhino, or similar is a plus

Our McKinney Multi-Family project is progressing nicely! Foundations are being poured and elevator shafts are being constructed. These future buildings have been placed around the existing trees on site and capture the protected views of the 600 acre state park next door. All the trees have protection measures to protect them from construction and erosion.

We are so excited with the progress our interior team is making on the inside of our Grand Central project! Currently, Fresh Pickens Market, NobiliTea, Paint Nail Bar, and Santa Fe Designs and Boutique are completed and open for business

Our team had such a great time at Chuy’s for our last Happy Hour! Zoe recently moved from California so we got to show her an Austin favorite! And Hema exposed the team to the wonder of Chuy’s Tres Leches cake.

In honor of Landscape Architecture officially being designated a STEM degree program, LSI would like to take a moment to celebrate our amazing Landscape Architecture Director, Danuta! Danuta has been at LSI for 8+ years. Being from Dubai, she brings design experience and inspiration from all over the world. This also means she is no stranger to the heat! Fun fact about Danuta: she enjoys exploring different cultures and landscapes through watercolor!

The design intent of this residence is to create simple
relationships of form that can be commonly understood through the perception of
the building mass. To further simplify the perception of form, a wood screen
was designed to vail the façade articulation and fenestration. This screen also
creates a dynamic experience of light in different conditions; during the day
the façade appears opaque and monolithic, at night, light shines through
expressing the voids within the building mass.

This project involves two residential units that are divided
by a continuous masonry wall that is expressed in the architecture, creating
ownership of space between the residence as well as providing the base for the
upper building mass to rest on.
