Starting the new year grateful for these two boys and the gift of new beginnings, restarts, and lots of sun-kissed park days.

Here’s our digital Christmas card. 2025 has been a rollercoaster— but we always have fun! River’s terrible twos have come a little early, but we welcome his joyful laughs and “no mama/dada” that fill our house with glee. Wishing love, laughs, and flourishing to all our friends and fam!

Growing up in the Malu community, both and I struggle with obligation and duty a lot. How should we show up for our family and friends? And I know a lot of Malu families struggle with this - what does it look like to care for our family in a way that feels authentic and not contrived? Our value? We don’t mind a little bit of effort to maintain connection. Even if some of that effort requires putting aside our egos and accepting that some relationships will be complex, and a little broken, definitely not perfect, and maybe get more from us than what we get from it. The flip side of this? We make the most of it by deepening our relationships and knowing friends through multiple seasons of life. (Note: and have known each other since they were tiny little munchkins - now here they are as fathers with the next generation of babes). River’s first road trip: a 1000% success!
