I LIKE TX™ highlights all that we like about this great state, politics aside. With a retail/wholesale site at iliketx.com to show off your Texas spirit.

When we started I LIKE TX™ it was important to us to highlight the people in Texas who are making a real impact in their communities.

We produced this video for The Love Pit Dog Rescue because we truly believe in their mission. Our goal was to use what we’ve learned behind the camera to help these dogs get adopted.

Pit Bulls and other bully breeds are often feared and misunderstood, but The Love Pit chooses to see them differently. They rescue and advocate for dogs that are too often overlooked, and we are proud to partner with them in their mission to make Texas a better place.

Dogs in order of appearance:
Alby - (Male) Kid friendly, dog friendly, beautiful smile.
Peggy - (Female) Sweet and friendly nature, loves car rides.
Scooby - (Male) Energetic, sweet disposition, agile, loves to run!
Rosemary - (Female) Confident, independent nature, enjoys car rides.

The Alamo remains one of the most recognizable historic sites in the United States. Currently under reconstruction, the upcoming project is at least partially motivated by the chance to display the Alamo artifacts collected by musician Phil Collins.
After decades of amassing a priceless collection of artifacts, Collins donated the artifacts to the Texas General Land Office, guardian of the Alamo on behalf of the people of Texas.
This project is one of the many exciting historical renovation efforts across the state.

The snow is building up in Dallas, TX! This is the result of a massive storm affecting a large portion of the United States. Be safe out there and take care of your family and neighbors!

I LIKE TX, but sometimes the weather is nuts!
The big winter storm has landed in Dallas. Rainfall will soon combine with sub freezing temperatures to create hazardous conditions for driving. The power grid is also expected to experience a strain to its resources. We hope that everyone is prepared for worst case scenarios. Please take care of one another and stay safe.

I LIKE TX ART!

The Spirit of Communication is a 24 foot bronze statue, covered in gold leaf, created by Evelyn Beatrice Longman in 1916 as the symbol for AT&T. The statue holds a lightning bolt and an electric cable to represent the evolution of modern communication. The massive gold figure really stands out in the AT&T Discovery District in Dallas, Texas, and highlights the area as a “must visit” part of the downtown area.

I LIKE TX STORMS!

Dallas gets some incredible storms and sometimes, even tornadoes! This was an exceptionally lovely storm off in the distance. Capturing scenes like this makes one see how people get the itch for storm chasing! If only it weren’t so dangerous.
