Sick of getting Ghosted?
My friend Jose was feeling real good about his latest email as he has a newsletter on dog products.
Heâs a great guy and heâs super smart.
And thinking marketing was simple, he decided on doing his own email marketing.
He wrote his own offers, used templates to save him time.
And he had a catchy subject line, plus a killer offer.
Even threw in a âHey [First Name]â for that personal touch.
He hit send⊠then kicked back, waiting for the replies to roll in.
But nothing.
So it was understandable after getting no hate from the usual random Karen, he was worried.
So he decided to do some digging. He asked me to help him figure it out.
So I ran some quick tests.
Thatâs when I found itâhis email, sitting in Spam.
Surrounded by sketchy lottery scams,
A Nigerian prince offering him millions,
And a Russian super model wanting to pounce.
After I told him what was wrong.
He again asked me for some help.
Donât let your emails end up hanging with the spam crew with Jose's previous email campaign.

No need to overcomplicate email deliverability...
You craft the perfect emailâcatchy subject, a mafia grand-slam offer, a criminally smooth CTA. You hit send, expecting a flood of replies.
But instead? Nothing.
So, you check⊠and there it is.
Your email, lost in Spam or Promotions, gathering dust like an old pickup in a field. đ
Your biggest fear? Not rejectionâbut never even getting seen.
Good news: With the right copy and strategy, your emails can land front and center in the inboxâwhere they belong.
So these are some things to look out for.

I love it when my prospect says that their marketing team can solve their spam issue.
After struggling with it for over a few months.
Mind you....
This is so easy for me.
I could almost do it my sleep if I didn't have to look at the screen.

It's safe to assume even if you donât rip that band aid off.
The problem is still there, a bloody gnash of flesh still open to infection.đ·
So I think it would be better to rip it offâŠ
(Please donât roast me medical experts online) Just hear me out.
Don't get me wrong, it is important to stop the bleeding.
However, it is ultimately better to rip off that band aid, and to cauterize, disinfect, and sew you back together. (Only be attempted by professionals, or risk higher injury)
This was a metaphor that some problems canât be ignored and just hope that they will go away on their own.
It applies to a lot of things in life, like your problems with your plumbing, the electricity at your house, or an oil change with your car.
The same thing happens with copywriting.đ
ESPECIALLY in the case that you or your clients are going to SPAM or PROMO.
This problem will NOT go away, in fact, it has the potential to escalate and drag you down byâŠ
* Hides you from your target audience
* Negatively Impact sales
* Hurt domain reputation
* Kill lead generation, etc.

Hey folks, quick unsolicited business tip: Sales are the lifeblood of any business.
But sales arenât just transactionsâthey're about building trust with people who know and like you.
Thatâs why businesses invest heavily in visibility, authority, and fostering connection.
Great marketers have mastered this by identifying key pain points that drive action.
They do this by crafting stories that resonate with the reader.
Think about this the next time you see an video ad, or a sales landing page or maybe even an email.
Do they establish trust? How?
Do you align with their values?
Is what they're offering me truly going to solve my problem or alleviate a pain point?
