The Texas Debate Collective began in the summer of 2009 with the goal of offering an affordable debate camp to students who would not otherwise be able to attend a debate program. The Texas Debate Collective organized a camp comprising a largely volunteer based staff and with a majority of campers receiving scholarships. Applications for the TDC 2025 Student and Teacher Institutes are now open on our website! Camp this year will take place from July 13th to July 26th in San Marcos, Texas. We'll see you there!

The Texas Debate Collective is celebrating its 15th birthday, and you're invited! Tickets for the TDC 15 Gala are now on sale at tinyurl.com/tdcfifteen and the Gala will take place at 7PM on August 3rd in Austin, TX. We hope to see you there!

The TDC Student & Teachers Institutes will be held in-person July 21st through August 3rd, and it will be in the Austin area.
Registration for the student institute will be open through March 23rd. TDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we reserve half of our student slots for full-scholarship students every year. Decisions will begin with scholarship admissions on April 1st.

TDC 2023 registration is now closed for paying students!
New scholarship applicants can email us to apply!
The teacher's institute application is still live!
Camp will be held in-person July 16th through July 29th.
We will be holding camp on campus at UT Austin this year, and full tuition is $2450. Please don't let the cost prevent you from applying if you are worried about your ability to pay - TDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we reserve half of our student slots for full-scholarship students every year.
