To everyone following new and old, I’m feeling reenergized after a couple of months of much needed hiatus from the gram! In that time I’ve:

✨Joined .eisenhart PT to push along some fun creative projects she’s working on in Austin!

✨Moved to a new studio, experienced water damage not once but three times (😂) but we good, nothing was seriously damaged! Added bonus my spot over looks a greenbelt in Austin, & it’s a V-I-B-E. Such beautiful scenery to explore and design in!

✨After 30 years, I finally made it to Guyana 🇬🇾 with my mom and family to see where she was born and all the places my family spent their younger years and it was truly a top highlight of my year!

✨Lots design growth both Tawa related and personal! Which means I’m doing a Labor Day drop with a couple new products and some DISCOUNTS! Aw hell yeah.

Hi friends 🙋🏿‍♀️

I know it’s been a little quiet around here. I haven’t been as active on social because I’ve been working through a lot of things and have realized being a FT creator is really difficult in this capitalistic world 🥵. The good news is I’ve been dreaming up some new and fun creations outside of Tawa allowing myself to feel a little less restricted as an artist which has been pretty exhilarating. 👩🏿‍🎨

With that being said, I wanted to share a couple things that will be coming this month. We’ve partnered up with friends for an awesome giveaway, a sample sale, and some other small but fun announcements!

I’ve decided I’ll be spending the first half of this year to just create and prototype whatever my little heart desires. The good news is setting these intentions have has led me on some other new journeys that I absolutely 👏🏿 love 👏🏿 for 👏🏿 me! Slowly I feel myself shifting and evolving my art which is all I ever really wanted.

I’ll still be gracing your feed with all things colorful but I’ve taken the pressure off myself to post frequently to entertain the algorithm and to simply just go at my own speed (mentally my mind loves this but my bank account does NOT so support a gorl if you can 😂).

If you’re experiencing something similar I hope you make time and space to do things that truly bring you joy and shake up your routine.
