It's true! Get out there if you can...not only is it amazing to see, but the smell when driving down towards the Rio Grande village is intoxicatingly fresh as if you've just plowed through a flower garden head first..

Bluebonnet Alert! Big Bend Experiencing Largest Bloom in Decades The Texas Big Bend is experiencing its largest bluebonnet bloom in decades. Local photographer Lee McMullen says he hasn't seen a bloom like this in thirty years. The bluffs and roadsides near and within Big Bend National Park are being overtaken by the strikingly beautiful Chisos bluebonnets.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Chisos Mountain range is entirely contained within the boundaries of Big Bend National Park. This makes it the only mountain range in the United States to be fully contained within the boundary of a National Park.

Huge thanks to sharing this photo recently. They said it ended up being their 2nd most liked photo.. with a whataburger place covered in snow taking 1st. Lol go figure. Tomorrow I will be publishing my new website to sell prints. I haven't sold prints in over 5 years because procrastination was embedded in my day to day life..and I wasn't a man of my word. Ive spent the last few years paying people back and I want to make it right with those who never saw a print back in the day. I'll post the website link tomorrow. Thank you
