Today is my favorite dogs 11th birthday. I love this dog and thankful I have him. Never thought we would see the country together and he would be my shadow. These days I know we’re on borrowed time. He’s seen the best and the worst of my 30’s and early 40’s and forever thankful to have him!

My four-legged sidekick, Earl turns 10 years old today. He has been with me in some of the darkest days and some of the best he’s traveled with me over the country more times and I can count and has adapted graciously when I married Sara and moved in with the kids. He drives me nuts most of the time but these days I feel like we’re on borrowed time. Grateful for animals and the joy they bring to our lives.
