A Texas Lasso is not a specific type of individual. This organization encompasses a variety of people from different and diverse backgrounds but these words highlight the similarities that all Lassos possess and what we pride our organization for. Come out to our recruitment events and get to know what makes a Lasso a Lasso 💘🤘🏼
💖COME AS YOU ARE💖
Here is the schedule for our recruitment this semester. To apply for Lassos you just need attend one info session and submit an application! Meet n greets are only for you to get to know us better. Saying goodbye to summer and hello to recruitment!! See y’all soon 💛
✨LASSO HIGHLIGHT✨
Today’s Lasso highlight is Salo Cadavid. Salo is what beauty looks like from the inside out. She is so full of compassion for others, always ready to lend a hand, and goes far out of her way to make sure other people feel loved. Not to mention she is the funniest lil girl you’ll ever meet! We are so glad Salo joined us last semester as a Spring ‘19 Beamin’ Babe! We love you 🥰
Our Spring ‘19 babes are on the lookout for their littles 👀
We are so excited about this semester’s recruitment theme “Come As You Are” because it reflects the values of our organization. Texas Lassos celebrates the unique qualities of all members: personalities, passions, backgrounds, and futures. A “typical Lasso” is someone who embraces their own identities while recognizing and uplifting the differences in others. This semester, we invite you to come as you are, whatever that looks like, as you get to know each one of us for who we are.
P.S. Our recruitment schedule will be released very soon, so keep an eye out and join our page (link in bio) to stay up to date on all things recruitment!! 💛💛
Sunnie and Christina representing Lassos in Alaska!
The two are a part of a fundraising organization called Texas 4000 dedicated to fight against cancer. Christina and Sunnie accomplished T4K’s cornerstone event, biking 4000+ miles from Austin to Anchorage, and we couldn’t be happier to have them as a part of the org! 🚲
