Submit a design to be featured on the cover of our Spring 2024 issue of Hothouse Lit. Journal! Submissions due April 25th, all majors welcome!

GREAT NEWS!! We’ve decided to extend our deadline for print submissions by one week! The new deadline will be APRIL 7TH!
All other submission guidelines will remain the same and can be found at the Hothouse website linked in the bio. We can’t wait to read your fiction, poetry, or non-fiction submissions!

Open to all undergraduates currently enrolled at ANY Texas College or University. We are so excited to read and feature your work this semester, so draft and perfect your writing and submit by April 1st to see your writing in print! Or May 1st to be featured on our website! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns regarding submission.

We are currently hiring for our Prose, Poetry, and Nonfiction Boards, Website Writers, and Marketing Team. You must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled at UT Austin studying English and/or Creative Writing for all positions except Marketing. Hothouse Lit. TOMORROW, April 28, we are celebrating the release of the ‘22-‘23 edition of Hothouse! 👏🏼 As this our first school year to accept submissions beyond the English department, we are delighted to showcase a diverse selection of remarkable literary works at the undergraduate level. Everyone’s invited — there’ll be live readings, refreshments, and copies of the journal available. 🥳📚
