Blue Hummingbird Photography

Hi everyone! After a hiatus from photographing professionally, I'm back! For those who aren't aware, I've been living in Texas for the past few years and am now serving the greater Austin area.

To kick start coming out of retirement :), I was so fortunate to photograph this amazing and fun family. Not only are they so fun, but they foster dogs for local Texas rescues. Gisele and Jeremy lead by example, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to photograph all of you!

This year is a little different for me.

I moved to Texas at the beginning of 2018, but in my short trip back to Iowa this weekend I was able to squeeze in a few photo sessions.

The Templeman family agreed to city + grunge this year instead of the traditional fall outdoor colors. They are such a beautiful family that I think you'll agree they look good in any setting!

Congrats to Jenny + Adam! What a beautiful fall day, + a GREAT couple surrounded by great people! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your perfect day!

I had sooo much fun with this beautiful family! I laughed the entire time (thanks to Hank and Geo), and am still laughing while editing some of their photos.

Dear Mestdagh family: I love you. Thank you for always bringing a smile to my face, and for being such loyal customers, year after year!

When you have 20 minutes of "down" time, you use it to edit a photo of an awesome family!
