seems to be driving through a foggy stretch lately, judging by the errors and problems being reported online. We feel the frustration too.
has temporarily paused the inactivation of USDOT numbers for carriers who could not complete a required biennial update since June 1 because of Motus issues. Those carriers will receive more time to update their records without losing their USDOT status.
Is Motus giving you a headache too? Tell us what issue you are dealing with.

11 years ago today, we moved our very first load under the DOXA LLC trucking Company.
Hazmat trucking was our path from the beginning, but our vision was always bigger than moving freight. We wanted to build a company where good people could work together and grow, both professionally and personally.
The years have passed, but that purpose has never changed. Neither have the values behind our hashtag: .
Thank you to every driver, colleague, customer, and partner who has been part of DOXA LLC TEAM.
11 years down. Many more miles ahead!

The Old Farmer’s Almanac has released its fall 2026 forecast.
September and October look mixed: warmer in the middle of the country, cooler near the coasts, drier in many areas, and wetter in some key regions.
For truck drivers, that means fall may not feel the same everywhere. One state can be dry and windy. The next can bring rain, fog, slick ramps, wet leaves, or mountain weather. And with El Niño expected to strengthen, patterns can shift fast.
So, get yourself and your truck ready. And remember: the Almanac is a seasonal heads-up, not a trip plan. Check the real forecast before every run.

Homeland Security is now investigating CDL school fraud. FMCSA says around 75 entry-level CDL training schools are suspected of fraud, including false training records, improper driver certifications, and failing to properly train drivers.
Before choosing a CDL school, check it here: https://tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov/
Look for a valid provider listing, real behind-the-wheel training, clear pricing, qualified instructors, good reviews.
Take it from us: the road will test every driver. Make sure your training can handle it!

Doing good or bad is a choice. It is up to us to decide which one we bring into the day.

Moving from point A to point B can feel very different when you’re delivering sulfuric acid.
1. It can become a serious problem if the load shifts, leaks, or is handled carelessly.
2. It can turn into damaged equipment, a dangerous spill, or a situation nobody wants on the road.
Or…
3. It can just be another Wednesday when the job is done by professionals.

For many drivers, it is the part of the truck that works while the truck is resting. That's write, we are talking about - APU. It can keep the sleeper cool, warm, powered, and livable without running the main engine all night.
There are a few main options. Do all drivers need one? Not always. But if you sleep in the truck, sit at docks, run in hot or cold states, care about fuel, engine hours, battery power, and comfort, an APU can be more than a luxury.
What do you think: is an APU a must-have or just a nice extra?
