Marquez Grabs Pole from Rossi; Rain and Wind Delays at COTA for Day One of MotoGP Following a torrential downpour of rain of several inches of water in a short period, additional lightning strikes caused several hours of delays. [MAR 30, 2019] Andy Soucek and Rodrigo Baptista of continue the domination over the tarmac at the Circuit of the Americas. Baptista and teammate’s Maxime Soulet’s Race 1 win for the Blancpain GT World Challenge America with their new Bentley Continental GT3 puts them in a very good place for tomorrow’s race. Both cars had a time of 2.06.498 and 2.06.037, with Soucek and teammate Alvaro Parente with the slower time of the two cars.
