You guys paint a pretty picture, but my son and I did not have a good experience there. Management is very unprofessional their actions allowed me to see that they don't care about you or your love ones. I don't recommend Texas Neuro to anyone.
Just wanted to do a wonderful shout out to the weekend crew !! The Nurses and the Techs keep up the same care during the weekend as the others do during the week !! Just Awesome!!!! They are always supportive and caring and work hard to meet all of our needs !! I am greatful as I know many others are as well!! A great thank you to my day nurse this weekend !! Debbie! as she always stops what’s she is doing if I have a need! What ever the size !! And to my tech Ean and Alexis!! They are always checking in on me to assure I am good or if I have a need !! I am blessed by them !! And to Angie she is another week and weekend nurse that I cherish dearly!! she takes time away from herself to always run errands for me she has such a huge heart she is so kind so precious to me thank you for all you do!! And boy do I send her on some wild goose chases sometimes! Inez always helps me too when she is here! Carol is always so helpful too ! Such a cool part of our crew !! Kelly too he is so awesome !! Such hard workers !! My therapist this weekend Abby was spot on as well and always pushes me for more and is so encouraging as today’s therapist Shelly was so awesome!! Even case Management Stephanie was here!! as always lending her special helping hand always encouraging always listening always working always checking on each of us ! The weekend night nurses are also so wonderful so helpful!! ! Han was busy helping his hall today but always makes time to stop ans and check on me he is another top notch fellow !! One last one Shawn from the kitchen if he can’t get me on the phone comes to see what I want to eat he is just so kind he and all of the kitchen staff are just so very awesome!! I swear if I did not know better , I feel like I am staying at a Ten star ⭐️ hotel !! I am spoiled here !! There are so many others that work on the weekends that are so awesome if I named them one by one we would be here all day !! I have have such very gratefulness for all of them ! A huge thank you to all of you! My heart is full of great fullness ! You all are my precious hero’s !! Thank you for all you do!!
Thank you Texas NeuroRehab for making it happen. Now it’s up to me to keep the recovery going. I am. You can believe that.
Happy Nurses Week!!
Is there any updates with the Corona-virus when entering and visiting patients at the Bluebonnet Hospital?
I just wanted to say that when I went to detox it was at Texas Star Recovery before merging to improve their facility. I think it’s wonderful. I just wanted to give a huge thank you anyways because it was a blessing and I’ve been sober 28 mos yesterday!!!! The picture I am attaching is me right after leaving detox and me today. Let me show those who look at testimonies how much your life will change and how healthier you start looking!
Thanks to the staff of Texas Neuro Rehab who came out to support their former patient from the summer Haley Piotroski at the Haley's Heros Benefit last night! You all were the first to help Haley on her journey to her recovery and got her building blocks started with her PT, OT and Speech. She wouldn't be where she is now without you all. Thanks so much for still supporting her! We were so surprised and excited to see y'all last night! You are the best and will always hold a place in our hearts!
I was transferred to Texas Neuro Rehab from Seton and I was there for the 35 days AETNA allowed. I have Multiple Sclerosis and was hospitalized due to a bad infection and hypercalcemia. I was in bad shape when I went in. Several improvements occurred, my left leg, which had been my better leg, started coming back; my right leg, which had been unresponsive for YEARS, started waking up, I have been able to extend it from the knee, and keep it lifted; my right hand, whose painful tingling/pins and needles sensation predated my MS diagnosis, was helped by Dr. Morledge via steroid injections in my hand, allowing me to use my right hand more than I have in years; my core strength, balance, and stamina improved dramatically. I cannot say enough about how GREAT the staff at Texas Neuro are. The occupational and physical therapists are amazing, the nurses are superb and the Patient Care Techs embody empathy. They are ALL caring, kind, understanding, compassionate, knowledgeable, intelligent, professional, generous, responsive, in short, words fail me. The vocabulary does not exist that will accurately convey the quality and effectiveness of care I was provided by Kevin (Occupational Therapist - who deserves a HUGE raise), Vern (Physical Therapist - also deserves a raise), in fact, they ALL deserve a raise, whatever they’re being paid is not commensurate to the care they - Patient Care Techs: Tre, Perla, Sarah, Tasha, Priscilla, Jeanette, Hillary, Vanessa, and Morgan; Nurses: Anita, Veronica and Maureen are providing. Dr. Morledge also deserves a raise, he LISTENS to his patients, he explains procedures/treatments clearly and honestly. I will recommend Texas Neuro Rehab to anyone and everyone in need of inpatient physical rehab.
My father is currently here. We are so impressed with the care he is receiving. The team of techs, nurses, therapists and physicians are truly caring and attentive. We are seeing progress and, more importantly, see compassion. It’s truly a special place.
Stopped by to say Hello and Thank You again and to let them see what all their hard work helped accomplish. What you do everyday matters. She couldn't have done this without all of you.
Thanks to Dr. Mercer, Neuropsychologist, and Gil Cerros, Clinical Liaison - both from Texas NeuroRehab Center for presenting about Brain Injury at University of New Mexico (UNM) Hospital on Tuesday, 10-17.
Our family is so excited that Andrew was moved to TX NeuroRehab today! All of the staff that we have encountered, either by phone or in person, have been fantastic! We look sooooo forward to working with this facility to get Andrew "back on his feet" and "in his right mind"!!!

'Brain glue' helps repair circuitry in severe traumatic brain injury

In a new study, researchers at UGA's Regenerative Biosciences Center have demonstrated the long-term benefits of a hydrogel, which they call "brain glue," for the treatment of traumatic brain injury. The new study provides evidence that not only does the gel protect against loss of brain tissue after a severe injury, but it also might aid in functional neural repair. #medicine #research #braininjury
