Fiesta may be winding down, but Henri is still in full celebration mode 🎉

Spotted at UT Health San Antonio delivering snacks, stickers, and plenty of smiles… because even robots know Fiesta is a big deal around here.

I had a very important assignment at El Paso Children's Hospital this weekend: deliver Valentine’s candy and collect as many smiles as I could. 💘

Today marks an exciting next chapter for Diligent Robotics!

We’ve entered into an agreement to be acquired by Serve Robotics, a move that brings our work in hospitals into a broader Physical AI platform and opens the door to what comes next.

Since day one, our focus has been clear. Build robots that work alongside people in real environments and actually make a difference. With Moxi The Robot now supporting care teams across more than 25 hospitals and completing over 1.25 million deliveries, this moment reflects years of learning inside busy hospitals and listening closely to the clinicians we serve.

By combining Diligent’s deep experience in indoor, human-centered environments with Serve Robotics' autonomy platform, we have an opportunity to scale faster, learn faster and bring reliable service robots to even more settings where they can help people do their best work.

Diligent will continue operating under the leadership of Andrea L. Thomaz, and Moxi will remain focused on supporting healthcare teams, now with even more room to grow.

Great conversation with Ani Kelkar and Daphne Luchtenberg on McKinsey Talks Operations about what it takes to deliver real impact with robotics.

Ani highlights Moxi as an example of a general-purpose robot already working in the field, supporting teams, and adapting to complexity in the real world.

As he puts it: “These robots interact with humans, they perceive their environment, they decide, and then they act in dynamic, often messy environments.” That adaptability is what sets this new generation of robots apart, and it’s what makes them so valuable to people.
