"Corinenta" is set with Ametrine and Opal. Ametrine contains colors of both Amethyst and Citrine.

This necklace design draws its inspiration from the flowing, organic rhythms characteristic of Victorian era designs. It has a loose abstract heart and butterfly wing motif built into the undulating patterns.

"Corinenta" combines the latin root "cor" meaning "heart" with "carinenta", the species name of the American Snout Butterfly that always brings joy to my garden.

"Chiroptera" draws inspiration from the flowing, organic rhythmic characteristics of the early 1900s Art Nouveau aesthetic. It also takes cues from the sharp, thorny sepals of milk thistle and the distinctive shape of bat wings. I sculpted the design out of wax and then used the lost wax casting process to cast it in my studio in solid sterling silver. It is set with Amethyst and Garnet.

These are a portion of the cast Bronze plant specimens that I have cast, molded and catalogued over the last eleven years.

For over 10 years, I have been collecting native plant specimens from the prairie spaces near my home, on trips around the country and from plants in my garden. I use them as components in my designs and as inspiration for my art. I find myself most engaged with learning through the tangible intimate process of creating art; incorporating what I am learning into drawing, sculpture, or making wearables. I like to share what I find beautiful in nature with others in hopes they will see beauty as well. (Continued in comments)

I've been a one woman micro business since 2008. Everything is still handmade by me in my studio where I sculpt, mold, model and cast everything in house. I've been fortunate to follow my passion for making and to be supported by everyone who has generously shared my work and/or added one of my creations to their collection. Botanical Marquise pendant with Chalcedony 💜

This is part of my release this evening. I will be adding this pendant along with several moon cluster rings and pendants.

The color of this Chalcedony changes with the light setting from a dusty rose to a lavender purple. Chalcedony is one of my favorite stones to use in my designs. I love the subtle glow.

Excited about my new floating crescent moon ring designs that I created over the last couple of weeks. I've been wanting to create a moon ring that has the illusion of floating on the finger after creating my large agate moon dust rings last year, and finally decided to just make time to do it.

I love how these moon designs I am making have an old regency feel about them.
