Sometimes readjusting your AV system is all that’s needed to get it to function ideally. At Bond’s we understand that replacing equipment isn’t the solution for every customer. In this case, all that was needed was to move the projector back a few feet to the proper throw distance, ensuring the image projected on the screen was the right size. To eliminate connection issues caused by HDMI extenders, our techs ran a 75’ “optical” HDMI cable to establish a secure connection between the projector & the source.

Whether you’re needing a simple TV swap or a multi room audio system, Bond’s is here to help! In this case the customer wanted to size up their 42” TV. We kept it “sweet & simple” by utilizing their existing mount and swapping their old TV with this 65” NeoQLED Samsung TV.

This Samsung NeoQLED TV mounted with a wireless Sonos Beam soundbar was the perfect fit for this customer’s cabinet. We set the TV & soundbar on an articulating arm mount so it could “float” just in front of the niche for easy access. Even the dog was impressed!

This customer wanted their TV setup to where it could be viewed from both the patio and the pool. Our solution was to use a weatherproof articulating arm mount to give the customer the ability to swivel the TV both ways.

Ever wonder what the hype is about OLED TVs?

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) TVs are unique because they utilize an organic compound to create LEDs that emit light without the use of a backlight system. While this sounds a lot like bioluminescence, since the OLED TVs don’t have live organisms like fireflies living inside of them, it is instead referred to as “electroluminescence”. Due to the screen not needing a backlight, that’s one less component and makes for a thinner screen.

The other significant advantage is that OLEDs can be controlled individually, while regular LED TVs operate in dimming zones which aren’t as accurate and can’t reach 100% black levels.

However, due to the organic nature of the OLEDs, they are not as bright as synthetic LEDs, are more costly to manufacture and can degrade faster. Thankfully OLED has come a long way and TVs nowadays have special features to reduce the risk of burn in and to boost brightness.

Take for example this Samsung S90D OLED TV. Samsung combined their Quantum Dot LED technology with an OLED panel to create a brighter & more durable TV.

Not sure what kind of mount to get? Here are a few options below.

Tilt mount: This is the most common and affordable option. It’s great for giving you some flexibility to adjust the TV but doesn’t provide much adjustment.

Articulating arm mount: This mount is versatile, and is great for a variety of applications — whether you need to “float” a TV in a tight space such as a custom built cabinet, want your TV to be accessible for both the kitchen & living room or just need to be able to extend the TV for optimal viewing. The versatility comes with a price, however; it is pricier than a tilt mount and does not have as slim a profile.

Mantel Mount: As the name suggests, this mount is typically utilized over a fireplace or in a situation the TV needs to be lowered while it is in use for a better viewing experience. While this brand of mount is pricey, most of the mantle mount models have built in heat sensors.

Rolling cart: This is a great way to keep your TV mobile, especially if you have an open floor plan and would like to move the TV to wherever you’re sitting. A rolling cart also works great for conference rooms, education centers and more.
