Lyons Jr. Lodge #290 is a men's fraternal organization working endlessly to better themselves as well as their community.

Over 181 years ago the first African American was initiated into the fraternal order of Freemasonry. He founded the first predominately black lodge, African Lodge #459, in Boston Massachusetts and assumed the responsibility of educator, leader, provider and many other titles for his community and his people. A Big Thank You to Grant Crosswork Community Church!
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Grant Crosswork Community Church for graciously hosting the Austin Area Prince Hall Masonic Family this past Sunday.
We thoroughly enjoyed the uplifting service and the warm, friendly faces that made us feel so welcomed. It was a wonderful experience connecting with such an inviting community.
Our day continued with fellowship among the brothers over a delicious meal at Golden Corral. It was a joy to share stories and laughter together.

A Wonderful Mid-Winter Session & Congratulations to Our New Master Masons!
We had a truly wonderful and productive time attending this year's Mid-Winter Session! It was an inspiring event that renews our commitment to the Craft.
A massive and heartfelt congratulations to our newly raised Master Mason, Brother Mark Poole! The entire Craft is incredibly proud of your journey and dedication. We can't wait to have you standing by our side as we get to work and continue our Masonic labors.
We also want to give special recognition to the Degree Team and District 11 for their exceptional work with the Master Mason degree and the opening of the Occasional Lodge. Your commitment to excellence is deeply appreciated.
Finally, congratulations to all 23 newly raised Master Masons! Welcome, Brothers. We look forward to when we convene again next year!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the George Washington Carver Branch Library's Pumpkin Carver event! 🎃👻
A huge thank you to the library for inviting us to be a part of the fun by handing out candy and snacks. We even got to be a judge for the costume contest, which was a blast!
Kudos to the entire George Washington Carver Library team for all the hard work they put into making the event such a success. And, of course, a big shout-out to all the dedicated volunteers who showed up and supported the community! We can't wait for next year!
