if your body only loses weight when you eat less than 1200 calories… then it’s not working.
tracking isn’t about eating less. it’s about eating enough.
1. the scale won’t move no matter how little you eat.
fat loss needs muscle to burn it.
eat too little, and your body burns the muscle instead, aka,
the exact thing that keeps your metabolism running.
2. you think eating more = gaining weight.
under-fueled, your body holds more fat & less muscle.
eating more of the right food first rebuilds your metabolism
then a deficit can actually work.
you can’t lose fat on a metabolism that’s shut down.
