15 Texas filmmakers have been selected by AFS this year, receiving grants for their short films, and we're thrilled to announce the inaugural recipient of the TBD Post Color and Conform Award! 🎬

Congrats to Ryan Darbonne for WE SKIP SCHOOL, a film set on September 11, 2001, where two Black teens grieving their friend's su***de ditch school to buy the new Slayer album while being unaware of that morning's events.
Ryan is an exciting Texas voice and we can't wait to be part of his creative momentum - he has a short premiering at SXSW this year, "Shut The F*** Up When We Speak".

We're honored to support Texas filmmakers through color and conform services. Here's to more bold storytelling from our community, and congratulations to the filmmakers chosen!
