Focal Point Designs, LLC

A full kitchen remodel is underway in Georgetown. ✨

This project started with a leak, so our first priority was identifying the source and making the necessary repairs. With that taken care of, we’re moving into a complete kitchen transformation.

The design is going to be so good —Edward Martin Kai checkerboard tile in Jade + Alabaster, Taj Mahal countertops, a green tile backsplash, and new white shaker cabinetry.

We love a kitchen that feels classic without playing it safe, and this one is going to have so much character. Can’t wait to bring it to life.

I have approximately 700 bathroom inspiration photos saved at any given time 😂 but these four have been living in my head lately.

And not because they look anything alike. I love the full commitment to color in one, tile absolutely everywhere in another, unexpected lighting, beautiful stone, tiny details that make the entire room feel considered — all for completely different reasons.

We have four bathroom remodels in the works right now, so I’m constantly pulling inspiration and figuring out which details make sense for each home and each client. These are a few I keep coming back to.

Which one are you picking?

This is why we do what we do. 🥹

They already liked their home—but after an 800 sq. ft. addition and a nearly full-home renovation, they now have a home they truly love, with room for their growing family and spaces designed for the way they actually live.

Hearing them say the finished home is beyond what they could have imagined means more to us than we can say. Thank you for trusting us with your home. 🤍

Nothing kills a remodel faster than an owner who sells you the dream, then hands you off to subs and disappears.

❌ Burned before by a remodel that ran over budget and over timeline?
❌ Handed off to subs while the owner went quiet halfway through?
❌ Tired of chasing people down just to get a straight answer?

Here in Austin, that's practically the norm, and your home is worth way too much to gamble on it. So we built Focal Point Designs to be the opposite. I'm Sam, and my wife Lyndall and I run this as a family company where the owner is your first call and your last, start to finish. 🙌

That means a dedicated project manager on every job and direct access to us the whole way, never some sub you've never met. No hidden costs, no surprise change orders, and nobody to chase down. We've spent 15 years remodeling high-end homes across Austin, and we treat every one like it's our own.

From full renovations to custom builds and additions, we're accountable for every inch of it. 15 years, family-run, and trusted with the biggest projects in Tarrytown, Steiner Ranch, and beyond. ✨
