Doing a pretty aggressive cut for 7 or 8 weeks, probably going to focus on lower impact movements during this time. Just want to get my bodyweight down a good amount before focusing on getting strength back up again.

Just getting the bare minimum done right now. It’s been tough finding time to lift or run the last couple of weeks.

Pain Cave 🤝 Fringe Sport
One great thing about (formerly) owning a gym: you know how to get creative with equipment in order to fit specific training needs. And this setup has quite literally all I’ll ever need for my training goals going forward.
2016. Much simpler times without a care in the world.
In retrospect, I’m glad I have all of my videos since 2013 saved. They give me a lot to look back on.

Actually happy with this effort
Shaved some time off my half marathon PB
Slowly sped up for miles 1-9, turned the burners on for 10-12, then cooled down for the remaining 1.3ish.
2:10:00 run on Saturday, so we’ll see if I survive that one.

I am unwell
11 miles for a longer run, managed to keep pace under 9:00.0 at a pretty steady heart rate.
I probably need to start bringing some fluids for these longer sessions. Last two miles were not kind to me.

12/2/25 Recovery Run
Calves are still feeling it from Saturday’s longer run, and I don’t think these shoes helped. Probably should have just worn the Evos.
Sauconys for tempo work and Adidas for race day coming soon, so pretty excited for those.

Hi. I signed up for the Austin Marathon. Will be posting workouts to hold myself accountable and to track progress.
Longer run today, a little over 9 miles. Still don’t know how I’m going to do 26 but I GUESS WE’LL FIND OUT đź«
