Midnight Stitches

My three beautiful amazing children inspired me to start sewing.

Getting the prewashed yummy fabric out of the dryer, seeing and smelling the steam coming out of my iron, gliding the freshly sharpened rotary cutter across the board, and hearing my old but totally awesome Singer machine stitch -- that's my meditation. Since all objects have souls and memories of previous contacts, I believe it is important to surround little ones with things that were handmade with love versus made by factory machines.
