If you're a student of Texas history, you're probably aware of the Texas State Historical Association. They've been around since 1897 educating Texans about their history. There's a battle underway. On one side are those who take great pride in their history, seek a complete and accurate telling of that history, including those past events that aren't much to be proud of.
