Creating something uniquely valuable is hard work. So after day 1 of Boundless Desire being out in the world, I’m still filled with gratitude for the gift of creating new music, and the chance to make great new friends along the way.

On this new song, the goal was to embrace the passion of Southern Rock and the lyricism of Americana, while still carrying the weight and reverence of something sacred. My hope is that this song does the tough job of translating what was originally a meditation on spiritual perseverance into a universal, affirmational anthem that is equally at home on the back porch, the dive bar stage, or the pew on Sunday. But at the end of the day, after listening to it a few times out of the studio, I just think this song is a real head-noddin’ good time.

Clint Kirby built the heart of it with the drive on drums that perfectly captured all the energy 🥁
Jake Kerley engineered all the sound to perfection 🎤
