Gulf Coast Sun: A Meditation 01/26/2021

GULF COAST SUN: A MEDITATION 🌞

I made a meditation song, y’all. Think soft sounds emanating from the southernmost shores of a Texas pandemic hellscape.

Five minutes long, the track features original beats and mixes by me, sourcing found sounds from Golden Hornet's MXTX Sample Library. Featured sound composers include Henna Chou, Natalia Rocafuerte, Graham Reynolds and Paulina Sotomayor. I made this in an attempt to not lose my mind after months of pivoting and feeling the weight of loss. This is my motivation to chase light.

You can listen and chase the sun (!!!), too, here: https://soundcloud.com/byjaneclaire/gulfcoast

As a toast to my own healing and the expansive gray space that lies ahead of us, I have decided to make my little zine of dirty poems available for free. ❤️

You can now download a complimentary copy of , the zine, here: https://janeclairehervey.com/shop/zine

(Also, if anyone is interested in a wine zoom hang, I can coordinate a meditation and poetry reading for us all. Comment if you’re down.)
