Sorry for your yelling over your beautiful voice, but I'm glad I got to sing with you as much as I did. Thank you for this (and so many other) clips of and photos

There's so much to say that it's hard to say anything.

Brady was a believer if there ever was one. He believed in friendship, community, equal rights, following your dreams, creativity, his friends, his family, love, and strength. I think the best way to honor our friend's memory and legacy is to believe in each other the way he believed in us, love each other the way he loved us, support each other the way he so selflessly supported us, and express our creativity and follow our dreams the way he did and would want us to.

I'm gonna miss my friend so damn much, I already do, but I have nothing but great memories to hold on to and to keep him close to me.

The last time I saw Brady was New Year's day, we went and saw Anaconda together, it wasn't a great movie but it might be my favorite movie now, and man am I so happy to have had that moment with him, I only wished I hugged him a little bit longer.

Let's never stop singing his songs, yea?

Brady Black forever and ever and ever. 💚💚

I could go on and on about the changes sobriety has contributed to in my life, or the clarity it has provided, or the people I've met or the experiences I've had because of it, but I'll just say life is pretty good over here and I'm happy with the choices I've made and where I am today and that I look forward to the next 5 years.

If you or anyone you know needs/wants a chat about the sober life, holla achtya boi.

Thanks (for the 2nd time) to for helping me fund a project! This is a great foundation and they've awarded me 2 grants now to help keep the music going. I'm not a blues player (save it) but they work with all genres and they have a program specifically for touring musicians called Fueling Musicians. If you're working on a project and need a little help along the way, check them out, they offer several grants throughout the year. Thanks again KTBA! ✊️

I love this man. has been one of my best friends for the last 15 years. I'm pretty sure I've played more shows with him than anyone else. He gave me his song "Out To Sea". We've done tours together. I got to play in . We took a story telling class together. We worked together. We rode Cap Metro together next to some old drunk Italian guy. Our bands shared stages together. We always sang along to each other's songs, even if we didn't know all the words, or any of the words. I have countless Brady stories, as we all do, but of all of the stories, I'm just glad to say we laughed together. Brady is a shining light in any room he walks into, he's one of those people that light me up when I see him, a wave of relief comes over me anytime I get to say "Oh, Brady's here, everything is ok".

As someone who doesn't reveal too much of himself to too many folks, Brady offers me comfort and makes it easy to open up and be myself. I could start a conversation about something small and trivial or something big and important and he'll say "let's talk about it", and he'll fu***ng mean that and we'll talk about it. Brady is funny and kind and just the best fu***ng dude, and like all of us, I'm pretty fu***ng heartbroken about this. What I wouldn't give to play one more acoustic show with you that no one else came out to. Truly grateful to be among the people that get to call you a friend. B-dawg for life. "You know what I mean?" 💚🖤✊️

My boy could use a hand. Brady is one of my best friends and best people, and one of my favorite song writers. He would give you the shirt off his back and that's a fact, Jack! Brady and I have been sharing stages for well over a decade, across multiple bands and life changes, I was even lucky enough to be in for a little while. Brady wrote the song you're listening to now (if your volume is up) and then he gave it to me (that's the abbreviated version of the story anyway) and it's always been one of my favorites. If you got a few bucks or the time to share the go fund me page, it would be appreciated. Brady Black is a god damn gem! The link for the GoFundMe is in my bio. 💚🖤💚

My baby is 1 year old! Thanks for loving this record as much as I do, menas the world to me, and the boys and I ( ) are proud of it! What an appropriate time too as we're just getting into writing new songs.

"May all the roads that lie before me, come to be the ones that lie behind". Do I need to use quotations if I'm referencing my own song?
