It really doesn't take an expert to see how special some of these vintage amps are. One thing is for sure, they look awesome, and are a better experience to use that most modern music making stuff. This one is still awaiting restoration. It will find a forever home all too soon for us.

Along with the usual recap and restoration, we replaced the standard gray vinyl on this Pioneer PL560 with red oak. Sorry, this one already belongs to a customer. Just wanted to share it.

This Sansui 2000X Receiver is an old classic from the early 1070s. Finished in genuine walnut. It's waiting for a new home once restoration is completed. Though it may only be rated at 40 watts per channel, we'll take the sound over many a more powerful amplifier. Sweet and warm.

Anyone looking to sell their Pioneer PL 518 turntable by chance? Also looking for other models from this era too. PL-560, 630, and so on. Need not work, just looking for complete units.
We do enjoy vintage tube amps. Are they for everyone? Nope. Maybe you found this one at an estate sale for a couple hundred bucks. That'd be pretty good luck, but just know that it'll take pretty close to a house payment to restore one of these and do it right.
